* Inspired by Vergil's Corydon, who loved the youth Alexis, this is a homo-erotical text first published in 1594, when the author was only 20 years old. All the paper used for this edition was hand-made by Frances McDowall from The Old Stile Press. A perfect Old Stile publication, using a mixture of modern and ancient techniques to produce a superb marriage between text and illustrations.
